History
2021 was the inaugural year for the Guy Fawkes Ride. We added a long course in 2022.
Every 5th of November in Great Britain, on Guy Fawkes Day, we remember the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspirators attempted to blow up Parliament and assassinate James I of England.
Fawkes was caught in the act, imprisoned, and tortured at the Tower of London. He and most of his fellow conspirators suffered a traitor’s hideous death in Westminster. But who was the real Guy Fawkes, the man behind the mask?
